WWII US M1 Helmet Complete
Item: WWII5332

WWII M1 helmet.  Has a front seam, stainless rim, swivel bales.  Chin straps are khaki sew-on with darkened brass buckles.  Original paint is OD with cork aggregate mixed in.  McCord manufactured shell numbered 586C.  Fine uncleaned and unaltered example.  The liner is a Westinghouse.  Has all the straps and webbing intact.  The nape strap and sweatband are post war.  Liner has its original khaki paint.  Leather chinstrap is present but broke in half.
