WWII Navy USN Damage Control M1 Helmet
Item: WWII8050

WWII M1 helmet.  Has a stainless steel front seam rim, swivel bales, and original chinstraps.  Chinstraps are khaki sew-on.  Original paint with cork aggregate mixed in is evident under the red over paint.  Markings to the inner front of the shell are "S (Schlueter) 259B".  No liner.
