WWII US M1 Helmet Front Seam w/Liner Minty
Item: WWII8199

Mid-war M1 helmet.  Has a front seam, stainless steel rim, swivel bales.  Chin straps are khaki sew-on with darkened steel buckles.  Original paint is OD with cork aggregate mixed in.  Schluter manufactured shell numbered 216A.   Fine uncleaned and unaltered example.  The liner is a Westinghouse.  Has all the straps and webbing intact except for the nape strap which has split in two and is missing the leather chin strap and button in nape strap.  Sweatband is intact.  Good looking helmet.
