WWII US Rear Seam M1 Helmet
Item: WWII5102

Late war M1 helmet.  Has a rear seam, manganese rim.  Chin straps are khaki sewn on with darkened brass fittings.  Has an addition of the next generation of buckle attached to the original making for a unique transitional set up.   Original paint is OD with cork aggregate mixed in.  Heat number is 1262D dating it to March-June 1945.  Fine uncleaned and unaltered example.
