Artillery Photo Album 1930's Philippine Islands
Item: WWII4692

This is a really neat pre-WWII photo album from a soldier stationed on the Philippian Islands around 1936.  Looks like he may have been assigned to the 60th Coastal Artillery.  There are several pictures of artillery guns and drills.  There are reverences to Ft. Mills and Ft Meade in S. Dakota where he may have trained with the 4th Cavalry.  Some really great scenery and city shots, indigenous peoples, in and around Manila and Corregidor, a public hanging, and one of the coolest images is of the San Francisco Bridge under construction.  Several lady friends both State side and Philippine, and about 10 pictures of family at home.  Several USN ships and aircraft.  Many of the pictures are named or identified.  Many of the images are period tinted, colorized.  Book is named to the original owner.  There are 262 photos in this album.  Covers show wear.
