WWII German Luftwaffe Photo Album DAK Afrika Korps
Item: GM4982

Original period photo album filled with 166 photos.  This unidentified soldier started his career in the army in 1936 and had transferred to the Luftwaffe by 1938.  He saw action in France, Africa and Russia.  The first photo in the album shows him wearing the Afrika Korps cuff title.   Some of the photos are souvenir shots of local sights.  Many good unpublished images of Paris and Derna, Libya.  He appears to have served to the end of the war with duty in Russia from 1942-44.  The album has an embossed LW emblem on the hard front cover.
