WWII German Customs Official's Service Cap
Item: GM1522

Field grey wool cap with double Bakelite buttons, fold down ear flaps. The front of the cap has a  machine woven customs eagle with in silver flat wire thread and a national tri-color cockade on a green rayon "T" shaped base. The interior is fully lined in rayon. Cap has moth damage throughout the body.  Cap is maker marked Hermann Potthoff.  Size marked 58 1/2.
