Original German army infantry NCO's visor cap.  This cap is a pre-war model with the early cockade in place.  Aluminum eagle is a later version than the cockade.  Cap has the wire band in place.  The stiffener for the body of the cap was some breaks in it.  With the negatives out of the way, I can say it is a nice cap.  No moth damage.  Liner, sweat shield, and sweatband are intact.  Sweatband has a stitched repair.  Has a good form and presents well.  It is a size 59.  There is a makers stamp under the sweatband, but it is not legible.  Looks like it may be a K.H. Flauder stamp, but not for certain.
