Original M35 Luftwaffe double decaled helmet.  This helmet started its life as an early issued double decal Luftwaffe helmet.  Traces of the early LW blue paint are visible under the wartime field grey repaint.  Ghosting of the LW eagle on the left side is very evident.  National tricolor decal on right is also obvious.  I do think someone tried to uncover the tricolor decal as the surface around the decal is a little more polished than the rest of the finish and the decal is more clearly visible.  Early 1935 dated helmet band is intact with remnants of the original leather liner and chin strap.  No dents or cracks.  Shell is marked ET 64 on left side, the lot numbers are on the back edge.  Nice original helmet.
