Original M42 police double decaled helmet. Both decals are mostly intact. Field grey paint is about 75% intact with an unusual pitting to the metal. Has the appearance of having impurities that may have flaked off. Helmet band is dated 1943, size marked 66/58 shell, liner and chin strap are missing. No dents or cracks. Shell is marked NS66 on rear side with the lot numbers. If not for the pitting, this would be a choice example.
