WWII Luftwaffe Flak Artillery Visor Cap

Original German Luftwaffe flak artillery NCO visor cap. Standard issue, Luftwaffe blue wool constructed body with red waffenfarbe. Body of the cap slightly misshapen. Wool is in very clean condition with just a few small moth nips on the waffenfarbe. Cap has no maker information or size markings. It is unit stamped on the underside of the sweatband to 1st Flak. 36th Regt. 2nd Bat. Has silvered die stamped eagle and cockade. Some of the finish on the eagle has washed off. Additionally, the cap has a leather NCO's chin cord held in place by two small prong back black buttons. Leather chinstrap has some crazing to the finish. The vulcanfibre visor has a black exterior and green checkered under side. About a third of the visor has come loose from the cap as has the sweatband underneath. Cap has a full liner in light brown. Leather sweatband is complete and in good condition. Sweat shield is complete. A good example worth restoring.
