Offered is an original Luftwaffe paratrooper badge.  Badge is two piece construction with the eagle held in place by two rivets.  Grey metal retains about 70% of the gilded finish.  Metal has toned to an attractive patina.  It is maker marked "A" Assmann L/64 and "1" above the rivet.  Pin and catch are intact.  Very nice badge.   Guaranteed to be 100% original.
