This is an original High Seas Fleet badge. It is die struck, grey colored metal with traces of the original gilt wash still present. Flat pin and catch are intact. It is maker marked L/18 on reverse. Has a few blemishes to the bow of the ship on the obverse. Very nice original at a bargain price!
