This is an original WWII era German gasmask and canister.  Hinged lid and latch work fine.  Canister is very clean, retains about 95% of original paint and is numbered .  No dents.  Has the shoulder and belt straps, missing the pull strap.  Mask and filter are also very clean and appear to be unused.  Has spare lens covers.  Lid is dated 1939.
