WWII German Heer Officer Tropical Belt & Buckle

Heer officer’s tropical belt and buckle. The buckle is two piece constructed aluminum.  It is unmarked by the manufacture.   The belt is constructed of a well preserved woven olive-drab canvas.  Tongue is also canvas with seven dual adjustment holes for the keeper.  Slide keeper is missing.  Edge of the receiving end of the belt is leather reinforced. The buckle measures 52mm in diameter and the canvas belt measures 92 cm x 4.5 cm. It depicts light wear, but is in overall fine condition.  My opinion is that this original buckle has been repainted and attached to an original tropical belt.  The stitching holding the buckle in place does not match the stitching holding the tongue to the belt.  Condition of the paint on the buckle does not match that of the belt either.  I would consider this a restored piece.
