^{This is an original WWII era medical sleeve diamond.  Has white snake embroidered on to black wool cloth.  Body of snake and staff are silky black thread.  Does not glow under black light.  Back of insignia has a glue stiffener applied.  It is in excellent undamaged, unused condition.}
