Original hand painted pipe bowl commemorating service in, what I believe was a reserve mounted unit the 2nd company, 15th training battalion from Strafsburg. Porcelain bowl measures about 6 1/2" tall. Brass lid is in the shape of a pickelhaube. Has original red, white and black acorn knot attached. Has been smoked. Edges of a few of the oak leaves have been chipped off and is missing a loop which would have held the cord to the back of the bowl.
