WWII Italian M37 MVSN Fascist Officer Dagger

Offered is an Italian M37 MVSN "Black Shirts" Officer’s dagger with original scabbard and leather hanger.  Measuring slightly over 12" in total length with a 7 3/4" nickel-plated steel blade set into an aluminum hilt with a hooked quillon and double sided eagles head pommel. The black celluloid grips are in excellent condition and display a gilded Fascista insignia to the one side.  Blade is unmarked by the manufacturer.  The steel scabbard retains its original black painted finish and shows minimal wear  It is accented with gilded tip and hanger bands.  Included is the original hanger.  Constructed from black leather straps and gilded brass accents.  Both the dagger and hanger have not been cleaned or altered and are in as found condition.  A truly rare piece of history to encounter!
