Brass drinking mug that was a souvenir of a member of the USMC 24th MAU (Marine Amphibious Unit) in Beirut Lebanon in 1982-83.  Mug has insignia silver soldered in place.  The 24th MAU is the unit which lost 241 servicemen in the 1983 Beirut barracks bombing.
