This is a beautiful Ribbed and Beaded variant of the British Fairbairn-Sykes Commando fighting knife. Handle is solid brass with some of the dark finish still intact. There are no inspection marks on the handle. The tang is double stamped with the import mark "England" on one side. Machine ground blade is very clean, nice blued tone with one rub spot to the finish. This knife comes with the original sheath. It is missing the elastic band near top. Leather belt hanger has some minor cracking around the belt slits. Very nice original knife.
