USS Alabama War Diary 1942-1944 Naval Cruise Book
Item: B75

This book chronicles the 1942-45 missions of the USS Alabama BB-60. The Alabama started her service patrolling the North Atlantic and Arctic Sea from April to August of 1943 on Tirpitz watch.  Later she was in the Pacific where she joined up with the fleet for the Gilberts operation and fought in most of the engagements in the Pacific including bombardments of the Japanese Home Islands in July 1945.

The book has 137 pages, heavily illustrated in black and white with many photos of the crew and activities during the war.  The binding is still tight. The dust jack is present but fragile and coming apart.
